Lesson 1: Berenstain Bear's 1

Reflection 1:
This lesson was very rushed as we had spent the morning at the school cross country, we also had a Maths lesson that we had to complete before we finished at lunch time. We did try to arrange another time but were told that we had to complete on the day and make it fit.

The children loved the story and were really attentive, and were really involved in the story telling, this was good to see as the book is a bit older, and was a bit worn but they didn’t mind. They were also a bit disappointed when we stopped half way.

During the activities they were able to recall the foods that went into the three categories which was awesome to see, as this meant that they had connected with the story. It was also interesting to see the different types of drawings, most had some form of fruit of vegetable and they all had some form of treat from cake to lollies and chocolate. I found that this was a very successful lesson.
